Anyone Know what happened to the Video that's brought down many JWs to Ex-JW land?
by PokerPlayerPhil ini've been looking for a video done by someone who shows the warning by jesus saying "if anyone comes to you and say's "the appointed time is near" you are to run from them!
two people who left the watchtower said this has been one of the most powerful videos to get inside the heads of really smart elders and witnesses that don't come the regular way.. the gist of the video is the watchtower wrote a book called "the appointed time is near" and this goes against everything jesus christ warned people.
the problem with the watchtower's followers is they need "omens", "portents", "signs" to keep their followers following along their path lead by that dried up old carrot (the end) or (the appointed time).

One really doesn't have to see a video but read the bible with careful attention.
Those are great references for an average person or someone who has learn TTATT, but JWs are not average persons. The WT has been dumbing down its members for years and it would be a rare event to be able to get one JW to sit down and go over those references.
The WT has deliberately reduce the intellectual level of education, reasoning ability, and critical thinking of its members.
They not only demonize education, but also any other source of information that might make them aware of truth.
In order for them to listen and learn, a person needs to appeal to them as if appealing to someone with little education or intelligence. For them it may involve over-simplification of an idea. (Think Caleb and Sophia) That’s the stuff that gets their attention.
So a 5 minute video might help them more than reasoning with some of the information that we are familiar.
Give them too much or information that is too deep, and they will start fidgeting like little kids and run like scared rabbits.

why did man go from living 900 years to 90?
by sowhatnow ini cant recall the scripture, where it says than only a few men will he live to be 80 years or so, can anyone recall that?.
so then im wondering, if it is a fact that men lived long years 900 in some cases, for what reason would god limit our lifespan if our time is so short compared to his?.
how on earth does man go from living 8 and 9 hundred years down to 80 to 100 ?.

There were no NUMBERS in Hebrew, Greek, or Latin. . . only LETTERS of the alphabet.
Those letters did 'double-duty' being used as symbols for quantity also.
That should clue all of us today about how lame civilization was--not even creating separate figures for purposes of arithmetic.
However, as you may well imagine, there were many digressions into confusion.
LOL, that explains a lot.

Either the original writer or the copyists of the Genesis account, for some reason undisclosed, (Not good at math, the slave girl accidentally spilled wine on the copies when the wife came home unexpectedly, or some other reason) caused the writer of Genesis to add an an extra digit. 96 + 9 = 969
(Genesis 5:27) So all the days of Methu′selah amounted to 969 years and he died.

by cookiemaster inso, not long ago i've told you guys how one of my only two jw friends saw my comment against the borg and called me about it.
well, the little fraker also called the elders to tell on me.
i know i've been a huge idiot for posting a comment about jw's on facebook, but nonetheless i did it and what's happened, happened.. two idiot elders came all the way from the nearest congo, 30 miles away to talk to me about it.

Back in 2007 the elders I knew after I exited the cult in 2003- drove 80 miles - from over an hour and a half away to come interrogate me one month before my marriage about committing alleged " circumstancial fornication " with my fiancé. And I had not attended a meeting in 4 years !
80 miles after 4 years, I have no words for that. It's just crazy. Non-jws would not believe stuff like this happens in the WT Org.

I’m right smack in the border of Texas U.S.A and Mexico. I’ve counted eleven in a ten year period that I can remember. We have a lot of people that cross the border illegally and Mexico is a dangerous place with all kinds of dangerous people. Anything you can think of, we would get in the Kingdom Hall.
Messed up persons? You bet. Elders that were involved with Drug lords running to the U.S. Women who were former professional prostitutes, transgender individuals, etc. But sorry to say, the KHs are growing like crazy. We are talking Spanish congregations

That is one thing that was good in the borg., always have another brother or your wife with you when talking to sisters about this matter. That was the number one reason why elders were DF.
That counsel was always taken seriously in my Circuit when it involved an older sister like Grandma Kettle, but usually it was some young single sister in her early twenties who looked like Barbarella and that counsel went out the window. Every other month some middle age elder was DF and a few months later he was seeking reinstatement with his new wife---Barbarella!

by sowhatnow ini was having a discussion with my sister yesterday, and she said to me,'mom told me that if dad dies at armageddon, she cant get remarried in the new system' .
i told he i have never heard such a thing, but i do recall that it was believed that anyone who dies now, cannot be married in the 'new world' because they are to be as angels in heaven.. she said , so why be resurrected if yiu cant live your dream of having a loving mate and perfect children?
god is still dictating to you how you will live.

One old elder use to say in his public talks that there won’t be a need for marriage because everyone will be naked like Adam and Eve and we will all learn to share one another. There will be no need to be ashamed because we will have perfect bodies and will be able to share each others perfect bodies forever and ever. Eventually we would have sex with everyone alive.

I do recall a single sister who said she was being molested
by demons at night in her bed.LOL
Poor sister all she needed was some relief.
I was an elder for many years and I had many sisters who would approach me requesting help from demon rapes. Many of these JW sisters would describe in detail what the demon would do to them. From undressing them and licking every inch of their body to the final act that would last for hours of pure ecstasy.
Now that I learn TTATT and know all that stuff about the Devil and demonss is Bullsh** I wonder; Did all those JW ladies have serious mental problems or did they have something else up their sleeve?
